The “advocacy” approach to managing workers’ compensation claims has gained steam over the past few years with proponents touting its advantages, particularly in contrast to more frictional claims management styles. This employer panel will summarize what advocacy claims management looks like in their organizations and explain its direct and indirect benefits for employers and injured workers. What’s more, they’ll share key considerations for implementing the approach, provide examples for measuring its success and explain why now is the time to implement an advocacy program.
