A Total Worker Health® (TWH) approach creates work environments addressing health and safety challenges negatively impacting the nation’s workforce. TWH relies on policies, practices and environmental improvements integrating workplace safety, hazard reduction and illness prevention to enhance overall worker well-being. Speakers from Oregon’s not-for-profit insurer and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health will share new ways of thinking about relationships among health, safety and work. You’ll learn innovative TWH strategies and interventions that can be operationalized to prevent and manage worker injury and illness.
