A massive effort is underway to revamp the digital communication infrastructure that serves public safety, from Next Generation 911 to the FirstNet public safety broadband network. EMS providers will realize a number of benefits when emergency dispatchers can provide more detailed data, such as improved patient location accuracy and access to pre-arrival digital data including video, vehicle telemetrics and patient monitoring devices. This session will help EMS leaders understand how these new systems will allow EMS to provide better patient care.
