Pet First Aid for the EMS Provider (Room Chesapeake ABC)

19 Feb 19
1:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Tracks: PRECON 14, Preconference Workshop

Pet First Aid for EMS providers is designed for EMS professionals outside of a veterinary hospital setting for dog and cat. Administering O2 to an injured dog or cat increases their chance of survival and may reduce the severity of hypoxic shock, trauma and recovery. Numerous municipalities have added the oxygen masks to their squads and several states have passed laws to allow EMS providers to offer aid in an emergency to animals. This course will give you the tools to provide emergency life-saving care to animals in need.

Cost for this course is $125 early bird/ $150 regular. Early bird ends on Jan. 18, 2019
