EMS Today 2019

The National Conference on Law & Policy (#E0086) - CANCELLED

James O. Page, the founder of JEMS and father of modern day EMS started the National EMS Law and Policy Conference, the first of which was held in Washington DC in 1990.  JEMS and Page, Wolfberg & Wirth, LLC have joined to bring this conference back into the limelight.  As the clinical and operational aspects of EMS continue to expand and progress, this conference examines the legal aspects of EMS development.  Does the law promote this progress or obstruct it?  Is the public represented and protected by the policies that define and govern prehospital emergency care?  In Jim’s words: “This conference takes decades of collective medical-legal experience in EMS and explores how that experience has shaped EMS policies, practices and procedures.”

Join a distinguished faculty – made up of some of the most prominent members of the legal and EMS communities – as we examine the current state of EMS law and policy.  Sessions will be “team taught” by the experts addressing some of the most pressing – and sometimes controversial – issues that shape EMS law and policy now and into the future.

Cost for this course is $250.00. To register, click here
