This workshop will review the 7 Pillars of EMS Officer Competency knowledge areas in a scenario-based format, addressing the supervisory level in each pillar. It will also include a review of the Supervising Officer’s written examination format and style, providing a review of how to interpret the questions and the critical thinking process to use in selecting answers.
Attendees will be eligible to sit for the credentialing exam at the conclusion of the session (2/20/2017; 2/20/2018; 1:30 pm – 5:00 pm) if they are otherwise qualified and have submitted an accepted application in advance. Application for the test is available at https://nemsma.candidatecare.jobs/.
Applications must be submitted and approved at least six weeks prior to the exam.
