New innovations in cognitive technology and authentication give government officials a better understanding of who is “knocking” at the door. Through cognitive technology, digital identity will not only allow government to more effectively and efficiently police access, but it will enable citizens to safely electronically engage with government. This session will explore digital identity and the new role it can serve as it moves from policing to enabling access.
