This past year, the race to full autonomous driving has braked for several hairpin turns and speedbumps, following more crashes and one tragic fatality. Yet, without headlines, Waymo’s self-driving vehicles are racking up some 25,000 miles each week, including transporting riders to work, school and leisure activities in the Phoenix area. A panel representing various segments of the electronics and automotive industries will discuss this fast-moving technology and the current state of the self-driving car.
