This panel will cover current and potential future commercial opportunities on the ISS that could return value in terrestrial applications, the changes and insight that operating in the environment of space might provide, the assistance available now from NASA and CASIS, and preparation for the likelihood of lowered transportation costs and increased frequency of flights to the ISS. These factors are creating new opportunities to meet the challenges of terrestrial industries by utilizing the benefits of microgravity and operating in low-Earth orbit.
