While methodologies for predicting long term energy production of a plant from operational data are fairly well aligned across the industry, key differences remain in how available data is utilized. In addition to differing methodologies, the interpretation of the outputs of an assessment are also diverse. This session will explore current best practices for conducting and interpreting operational energy assessments. We will focus on what information can be extracted, how the value of that information is determined, and ultimately, how that value is applied for pre-construction applications in a hind cast or repower context.
