Traditionally, EHS training programs are administered facility by facility. In this presentation, you’ll learn about the advantages PepsiCo Bottling has achieved through a customized, corporate-wide approach that allows for a corporate focus, with flexibility to adjust for variations at each facility. With assistance from its training vendor, the University of Findlay/All Hazards Training Center, PepsiCo took an all-hazards approach to EHS issues – from hazmat to tornadoes, earthquakes, medical incidents and utility outages. PepsiCo Security collaborated to help provide training on workplace threats, active shooters and crisis management planning. Since 2013, PepsiCo has strategically implemented this approach into EHS employee training programs throughout all PepsiCo facilities.
