2 - Overcoming Tenacious Injuries: Stepping Up Above the Safety Performance Plateau (Room 351D-F)

Many employers suffer “tenacious” injuries – the type that stubbornly continue to drag safety down, and that an organization just can’t seem to prevent despite numerous attempts. These are frustrating and costly – and can lower performance, morale and leadership credibility. Attention issues are often just one component of these problems. In this session, we’ll identify five common dynamics of tenacious injuries, methods for going beyond same-old responses that achieve same-old results, a practical and proven four-step strategy for overcoming ongoing and repetitive injuries, and leadership approaches for achieving breakthrough improvements in both injury reduction and safety culture.
