1 CompTIA CEU: A+, Network+, Security+, Cloud+, CSA+, and CASP; 1 GIAC CPE
The course will discuss security features, threat profiles, and threat mitigations for public and private clouds. We will review systems and network approaches to information security and how these approaches are unique in the cloud environment. Clouds covered will be Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure as well as private cloud options such as VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V, Xen and Linux KVM clouds. The attendee will, at a high level, be equipped to identify opportunities for cloud workload shifting and will be able to better secure cloud resources as a result of this course. This will be a vendor-neutral course.
