One poor performing employee can drag down the productivity and morale of your entire office. And based on responses to the Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey, most offices have more than one poor performer. This session is designed for practitioners who advise managers on performance-based actions and prepares you to deal with some of the finer points related to performance actions. Ms. Haga will cover length of PIPs, the level of performance which the employee must meet during the PIP, the differences between actions taken under Chapters 43 and 75, notice requirements for 432 actions, and dealing with roller-coaster employees.
