Building owners and operators are investing in converged and connected systems to increase productivity, lower cost and pull data from previously disparate systems to improve performance. Despite the increasing presence of IT stakeholders in discussions about building systems, a gap remains in the security of operational technology (OT), the physical devices that support and control the building. In this session, we close the gap between IT and OT, provide an overview of the risk-to-solution roadmap for buildings, and detail the top issues emerging in the cyber-securing of buildings.
