As supervisors, some of our most unpleasant experiences are dealing with disciplinary issues. Using interactive lecture and case studies, this session will challenge participants to examine their organizations and to work to grow and develop them into one that stresses being "disciplined" as opposed to doling out "discipline" except when truly necessary. An organizational culture focused on accountability at all levels will help reduce the need for formal disciplinary action, will improve morale, and will increase ownership in the agency.
