Tracks: Community Risk Reduction

This eight module program has been developed for management level fire marshals and supervisors. Targeted to the appointed fire marshal, or mid-level managers of fire marshal offices; the program includes the following modules: management and leadership; politics; budget and budgeting; legal considerations and concerns; strategic planning; benchmarking and performance measurement; community risk reduction; and staffing. Each module will include didactic and group participation to enhance the presentations and emphasize critical learning objectives. This course qualifies for 16 hours towards 1031 and 1033 recertification.
