This presentation is designed to discuss the need for establishing and communicating clear expectations in order to get the best performance to maximize success. Every organization strives to be the best at what they have been asked to do. There is also an internal expectation and dependency on other team members. How do we know when we have meet the expectations of our bosses, team members, the public and other stakeholders that have high expectations of you? Performance is driven by three key elements: expectations; motivation; and the individual’s/team’s knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs) to perform the job. Students will see how they are interconnected and learn that communication skills are essential to establishing expectations and in evaluating performance. A review of communication skills will lead to a self-evaluation of your own communications style.
