Coding and computer science is crucial for our students' futures, but let's face it, teaching it can be overwhelming if you don't have any experience. In this session, we will walk attendees through the process of getting started. The beauty of coding is it can work with almost any subject area, in general ed and special ed classrooms and grade levels as early preschool. Coding involves critical thinking, communication, collaboration and creativity. It teaches kids the importance of breaking down instructions into a step-by-step process which in today's fast paced world is a skill we all can use. And did I mention coding is motivating and fun.
