CODE, does this four letter word evoke fear in you? Do you feel left behind with the current technology trend? Do you have no coding background but want to learn about it? Do you want to teach CODE but don't know where or how to start? If your answer is YES, then this session is for you! By teaching coding, prepare students 21st Century skills by focusing on creativity, critical thinking, communication, and collaboration. In this presentation educators are provided with an easy and exciting way to introduce and teach computer coding to K-12 students utilizing the free tools from CODE.org and Google CS-First. In addition, multiple resources will be shared to introduce and encourage coding to all students.
