Participants will be introduced to Edmodo Snapshot, a formative assessment tool aligned to Common Core State Standards for Math and ELA in grades 3-12. After learning how Snapshot works, participants will create their own Snapshot by selecting the grade level and standards of their choice. They will also see what Snapshot looks like from the student experience and will be able to spend time analyzing results to determine what types of differentiation or remediation are needed. Although this session is targeted to those who are already using Edmodo, if participants have not used Edmodo before, they will be able to sign up for a free account and will be able to access and learn about Snapshot during this session. Teachers will find Edmodo Snapshot is easy to assign, easy for students to access, and that it provides powerful data to target instruction.
