Hackaball, "The computer you can throw," comes from a two-year development project on Kickstarter, now on the open market since January 2017. Hackaball brings a fun "attention-getter" to primary and elementary classroom activities. “Hot Potato” or “Pass the Bomb” randomizes turns while drawing all eyes and ears to focus on an activity. “Truth or Dare” develops language skills across disciplines. “Hit It Up” promotes eye-hand coordination and motor skill development, along with challenges keep students on task, in special education. Techniques to use Hackaballs in classes are discussed. A unique and original coding kit helps students plan and implement new programs with a minimum of reading using an iOS or Mac OS devices, easy replication instructions provided. Hackaballs, and the coding development kits, are available for use in the session to allow participants to have a Hackaball experience in the session and to examine and experiment with the coding kit.
