This workshop provides a hands-on opportunity with Fab@School Maker Studio, an easy-to-use, web-based design and fabrication tool that invites students to experience STEM and STEAM learning in a more engaging, personally meaningful way. From concept to design, you will experience the thrill of rapid paper prototyping — from powered windmills to fully functioning speakers. If you're new to digital fabrication, this workshop is for you! With lots of one-on-one support and guidance, you'll learn the "ins and outs" of this research-based program, which makes it easy to get students of all ages (preK-12) designing and creating.
