A summative report on promising practices in micro-credentials recently described Aurora Public School's Digital Badge Program as the most innovative and ambitious effort in the country. In this session, the district's Badge Leadership Team will share how they are using Badges to recognize student assets and connect them with employer endorsements in order to open doors of opportunity. Learn about their design process, expansive ecosystem approach, and the implementation efforts that have led to scaling Digital Badge Credentials with educators in more than 40 schools in two years, all in the face of budget cuts and without a mandate from the central administration.
