Tracks: Future of EdTech Administrator

STEAM education and the Maker Movement have collided, creating exciting learning opportunities for students. This intersection of creativity and innovation is spurring the creation of new learning spaces, curriculum, and programming in schools. This session will explore ways that teacher leaders and administrators can infuse this learning into their practice. The experiences and learning in this session will assist teacher leaders, principals, and district administrators in establishing programs that support STEAM and Making in their schools. They will leave equipped with a variety of resources including information regarding curriculum, materials, assessment, and funding sources (with all information housed on the presenter's website for later access.) Participants will learn about ways to incorporate parents and community in STEAM Maker programs, as well as fostering educational partnerships.
