Tracks: Future of EdTech Early Learning

4 years ago my kindergarten/ESE classroom became a 1:1 iPad classroom. I noticed that the children with technology at home were able to discover and create with the device while the very young or special needs students did not know how to interact with classmates, teachers or the device in their hands. I began looking for a way to let these children have a voice in learning. I soon found what I was looking for in apps where all the children of any ability level were able to 'speak'. Through apps such as Seesaw, ChatterKid, Draw and Tell for example, all of my students have a channel for expressing what they know. I can assess fairly based on the product the student creates.
