BYOD and 1:1 initiatives are frequently considered mutually exclusive. However, that perception is changing. Whether or not it's acknowledged, students bring and use their own devices on school campuses every day, regardless of what technologies are available to them through the school. By the same token, there are solid reasons why schools opt to provide hardware to students. As a result, it's increasingly important to accurately identify current technology needs and use on your site and then plan accordingly. Attend this workshop to review strategies and identify steps to leverage the best of BYOD and 1:1 (or other programs where schools provide some technology for student use).
