Website Accessibility Under the ADA: A Before and After Demonstration of the 10 Most Frequent Compliance Pitfalls (Room 2DEF)

28 Nov 17
1:00 PM - 2:15 PM

Tracks: South Florida Sessions

There are more federal lawsuits over website accessibility in Florida than any other state.  If your company has not received a demand letter or been sued, your chances of avoiding these are far less in Florida than anywhere else in the country. Under Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act, covered websites must be accessible by individuals with vision, audio, cognitive and physical impairments. If your company is a business that: (i) recruits employees via its website, (ii) maintains a publicly accessible web- site, (iii) uses its website as a nexus to its brick-and-mortar facilities and/or (iv) designs websites, you don’t want to miss this “show-and-tell” learning experience.

Registration is separate from the Tuesday Nov. 28 Pre-Conference Workshops and Premium Pass.

To attend you must hold a South Florida Sessions Pass.
