Nearly 1 out of 4 Texan children are food insecure. Dairy MAX and Baylor Collaborative on Hunger and Poverty know
children dealing with food insecurity, nutrient deficiency and improperly balanced diets cause gaps in education, social development and overall wellness-the fundamental factors of success. Together, we can close this gap by ensuring all students have access to the nutrition they need by providing the expertise, support and planning to help nutrition programs feed more students.
