The attendee will have a better understanding what is below the "tip of the iceberg" when it comes to the inflammation and redness associated with chronic skin conditions, specifically the ones that are often seen in their treatment rooms: rosacea and acne. By having a better understanding of what is happening under the skin, the provider and skin care specialist will have an increased knowledge on what they can do to help and recommend at home.
This presentation will provide increased knowledge of acute vs. chronic inflammation, the inflammation cascade (how it starts and why it doesn't stop), and what you can and cannot do to help your patients/clients.
