The prevention of motor vehicle crashes has been an ongoing battle for decades. Crashes still account for the highest number of severe injuries and fatalities in the workplace, and are the leading cause of death among people 15 to 29 years old throughout the world. Employers no longer can accept the liability that comes with a poor driver. Rather than relying on change to come after a significant event such as a crash, organizations should promote positive changes in driver behavior through training provided by competent instructors using the proper methods and tools. This session will focus on how to hire the safest drivers, train them and hold them accountable for driving safely.
