The adoption of EPC-enabled item-level RFID has continued its steady growth, with the apparel and general merchandise sectors leading the way. Manufacturers are tagging at the source, distribution centers are becoming RFID-enabled at an accelerated rate and retailers continue to push the envelope of what they can do with RFID technology.
