It has become common for wind companies to employ data-driven management to make better decisions. But that only unlocks half of the potential power of data. Across a variety of industrial sectors, leading companies have begun to combine leadership strategies that draw on sophisticated big data analytics with integration of analytical insights directly into business processes. Uptake's Steve Dictor, former performance analytics manager at EDP Renewables, will share the results of these hybrid approaches in several industries including rail, mining, aviation, and agriculture. Attendees will learn how a process-oriented framework unlocks value both from supervised and unsupervised machine learning algorithms, as well as a simple rules engine.
