A former US Senator from Alaska, Ted Stevens, referred to the Internet as "not a big truck," but a "series of tubes" that could be clogged with information. If only it were that easy! Getting information through any network, including the Internet, requires many steps, all working in the correct sequence, to get data moved around the globe, from one device to the next. Todd will discuss some of the steps that make it all work, along with some of the ways it can stop working.
