With the DIUx/DISA Mobile Endpoint Security Prototype currently in progress, it's clear that defense agencies are looking beyond enterprise mobility management and app vetting, and are prioritizing Mobile Threat Defense. There's no doubt that smartphones and tablets are tools that make people more productive. To hackers, however, mobile devices are valuable targets that are often unprotected. In this talk, Lookout's Chief Security Architect, Tim LeMaster, will discuss why and how attackers go about hacking mobile devices, how organizations can protect themselves and gain visibility into mobile endpoints while enabling employees to work when, where, and from whatever device they prefer.
