Current and near future priorities for defense include improving readiness, addressing programmatic shortfalls, and building advanced capabilities and force structure. Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard Commanders will discuss what they are doing differently to acquire major systems and platforms more rapidly and more cost effectively. These Commanders will also address how to sustain these capabilities.
