This panel will discuss the impact of unmanned helicopters on the future operations of the rotary force. Speakers will address changes to endurance, range, payload capability, and training; discuss how warfare commanders will exploit capabilities of the MQ-8 Fire Scout in operating in strike groups and distributed surface action groups; and brief the testing, evaluation, and future deployment of the MQ-8C, the next and newest variation of the Fire Scout.
