Bringing Materials to Market requires designing for reliability at the onset. Printed electronics have been well demonstrated for low power systems using silver nanoparticle inks. The reliability of these inks is limited when it comes to printed power electronic applications such as flexible RF antenna or the power control board of drones and robotics. Draper and collaborators are developing solutions to these problems that are compatible with other standard manufacturing processes. Emerging challenges in the field of printed power electronics will be addressed.
