Everyone in fire and EMS is entitled to work in a safe and respectful environment. Are you prepared to stand up for yourself or a co-worker when a bully strikes? This highly participatory workshop will give you tools to combat bullying; participants will practice standing up to bullies in role-play exercises. You will benefit from the insights of an attorney in how to respond when bullies strike. It’s up to all of us to Stop the Bullying Now! The objectives are to ensure that gain a new confidence in their ability to deal with bullies in their life and to help friends and co-workers deal with bullies in their lives, an understanding of the potential legal exposure when bullies are not dealt with, and to leave wanting to stand up and speak courageously for a more comfortable and safer work environment.
