Tracks: Distribution Automation
A distribution grid challenged by renewable integration and other forces needs eyes and ears on the ground and under it. This session presents both case studies and a forward look at how these technologies provide and expand situational awareness to combat what could be a chaotic flow of energy and information. Utility representatives from Southern California Edison, ComEd and AEP Ohio will explain lessons learned from pilots and deployments in their service territories.
