UU 304: Grid Modernization Program Overview and Lessons Learned (#D0154) (Room 212A)

Evaluate this course.

This practical course should allow a manager to walk out with a better idea of how to structure and sequence a grid modernization program and build a business case that senior management will understand. The course is based on lessons learned in real projects. It covers the items that should be considered in a grid modernization program and why they may or may not fit in the program that a specific utility might want to consider. The course is based on work done at more than 20 North American utilities and more than a dozen utilities outside of North America. The presenters have been engaged in each of these projects over the last decade. The course is an overview of all of the pieces and key considerations for why a component should or should not be included.

Who should attend this course?

  • Program and project managers from utilities

  • Consultants who are supporting utilities

  • Utility middle and senior management involved in grid modernization
