Designing a Design Process to Make Designing Things Great Again... or some bullshit like that. Ramblings & learnings from 2 millennial idiots, that make backpacks, about using an adaptive design process to keep up with the market and maintain integrity. Why you're screwed as a designer... The world is moving f*cking fast and it's putting some serious pressure on product designers to innovate rapidly. The idea of “make it quick and cheap” is being prioritized over “make it right”. Some large businesses are failing and missing opportunity because they are too big to keep up with the rapidly changing needs of savvy consumers.  Additionally, getting products to market is more accessible and quicker than ever to most people who have an idea. New designs and companies literally pop up overnight, piling on to the already over-saturated market of crap and pressure to move faster. Why it doesn't matter- you can make design great again... If things don't evolve, they die. It's now designers' responsibility to evolve their process and design it to evolve with the quickly changing needs of the consumer but make sure the product doesn't suffer. In order to design, do it right, and not die, you need to design a process first. Come hear about setting up a design process that's quickly adaptive to the changing market needs but still results in a stronger, more refined product.
