Failure is all around us – failed shows, venues, ticketing systems and technologies (QR codes anyone?). In this interactive talk, Rob will demonstrate how failure often spurs innovation and why it should not be feared. He will look back at ticketing successes and failures over the years and show how they have shaped our industry. Rob will also look forward to innovations and trends that our industry must evaluate and begin to prepare for today, whether they succeed or fail. And he will ask if we need to try everything new, even if it is likely to fail, to remain technologically up-to-date and maximize the efficiencies it may bring us and our customers.
