Team APG Theater: Achieving Unified Mission Command -The Common Operating Environment (Room Hall D)

The Army's Common Operating Environment (COE) is a new way of doing business. The COE is not a system or an acquisition Program of Record. Rather, COE technologies and standards bring stove piped systems onto a common foundation to allow the Army to deliver warfighting capabilities as software applications. COE has been sorted into six Computing Environments. Command Post Computing Environment (CP CE) will consolidate the capabilities for missions related to fires, logistics, airspace management and maneuver into a single environment, which is scheduled to begin test in 2018 and initial fielding in 2019. In this MILCOM panel, program managers and technical experts will provide an update on COE development, CP CE schedule and test strategy and COE sustainment plans.
