2017 INSS: Intelligence & National Security Summit

National Cybersecurity: Partnership Priorities (Room Room 201)

Protecting the United States and elements essential to its national security – from critical infrastructure to classified and unclassified data and networks – requires closely coordinated approaches to cybersecurity and information sharing between the public and private sectors. In this session, experts from industry and government will share their views on where public-private partnerships to enhance national cybersecurity have succeeded, and where they have fallen short. The panel will address the technical and policy considerations involved in strengthening public-private cooperation to defend against a sophisticated, evolving array of cyber threat actors, including issues like privacy, active defense, and information sharing infrastructure.
