This session relates to identity management at the Federal, state, and local law enforcement level. A high level description of the capabilities of systems and technology that employ biographic data or biometrics to help identify individuals "in the field" will be discussed. Criminal justice executives and practitioners will provide first hand experiences and perspectives on the current state of identity management systems used by law enforcement, best practices, challenges, and opportunities. The session will also provide insight into plans for future operational implementations of law enforcement identification technologies.
