Representatives from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the Terrorist Screening Center (TSC), and the Joint Automated Booking System (JABS) will discuss the current and future impacts identification tools are having in the Department of Justice (DOJ) law enforcement communities. The session will include the FBI Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Division's update on the status of identification programs to include the national Next Generation Identification (NGI) system and highlights of operational successes and future initiatives to include the FBI's Iris Pilot. The TSC will provide a brief overview of their agency with a focus on the integration of biometric and biographic data to create fully integrated identities sharable with the watchlisting and screening communities. JABS, an information-sharing system and conduit for sending standard booking data directly to the FBI's NGI System, will also provide an overview of the system and discuss recent and future enhancements.
