Human Migration and Combating Human Trafficking: The Role for DNA and Identity Technologies. The session will include a screening of a documentary short film "The Living Disappeared - Using DNA to Prevent Trafficking of Children on the Border", a film by Alexa Barrett and an open dialogue of the scale of the human trafficking problem here in the United States and abroad. The audience will be engaged in developing a strategy for how DNA and other human identity technologies can be adapted to address the global human trafficking issue.
