The Medicare “incident-to” and shared/split visit rules permit billing under the physician’s name and NPI number when a non-physician provider (NPP) furnishes the service, but only when certain requirements have been met. In this session, Mr. Kim will discuss the “incident-to” and the shared/split visit rules and how and when to bill appropriately.
