Strategic planning is critical in today's practice environment, and the process to approaching it is very important in order to have a successful plan. Mr. McCaslin will take the attendees through a well-organized process and approach so they will feel comfortable with strategic planning. He will address the planning with a "focal points" approach whereby we focus on: Mission, Vision, Values and Philosophy; Physician Issue (governance, succession planning, buy-in and buy-out, and income distribution plan); Growth Strategies (physicians to add, new services to add, new markets, etc.); Alignment Strategies (group-to-group, group-to-payer, and group-to-hospital), Operational Excellence (work flow, use of technology, etc.); and Quality Measures and Initiatives Facilities (ownership, design). Attendees will learn how to develop an action plan that will be used as a management tool throughout the year.
